We start by getting to know you and your project. We explore whether we're the right fit by understanding how you live and what you're trying to achieve, while you get a feel for our approach and expertise. Once we've established we're well-matched, we'll visit your site to assess the opportunities and constraints. Together, we'll develop a comprehensive design brief that outlines not just what we'll create, but how it will work for your specific needs and lifestyle.
Every site tells its own story and offers unique design possibilities. We begin by visiting your property to understand your vision and gather everything needed to bring your dream to life. By considering your specific needs alongside practical builder requirements, we provide a detailed quote that clearly outlines our services, deliverables, and your project scope for success. We leave no stone unturned!
Now it's time for the plans to start to come to life. We meet in person and create a unique sketch design concept that aligns with your lifestyle and how you use the space. From there, our detailed concept drawings take place which include perspective views and simple concept floor plans sufficient to explain the design vision before we progress to a design pack with site plans, floor plans, proposed designs and 3D Perspectives.
Now we turn your concept into a design for construction by providing comprehensive drafting plans including 3D modelling, formal plans and draft approval submissions for council. We will also coordinate a site survey and introduce our town planning partners during this process to ensure you are comfortable with the final design and your builder will also be informed to ensure the budget is on track and other requirements are met.
To ensure construction progresses smoothly, we develop detailed plans that allow certifiers, engineers, and other consultants to contribute their expertise. We coordinate the entire team including introducing trusted certifiers to ensure that all of the documentation required for Planning Approval and Building Permit Applications are with your local council and ready for the next stage.
Once the Approval is obtained and your builder is ready, it’s time to start the construction stage. We update any existing plans with final changes and send these across to you, the certifier, planner, engineer and your builder. Our design team remain on hand through the construction process for our clients and offer continued support as well as follow up on the project progress to ensure your development is aligned with goals and helping you live your best life.
